Since AnyTune (with the extra $5 in-app purchase) will work with the AirTurn foot switches I had to upgrade the one I've got (two switches) for the newer 6-switch version. So one possible benefit would be to be playing a backing track from anywhere through AnyTune, play chords for a while with one tone on the Spark amp and then drop out for a couple of measures to change to a nice lead tone and then wail away on an earth-shattering solo (like we all play!), drop out for a measure or two to change to a different tone so that you can pretend you're the Allman Brothers Band with alternating solos by Duane Allman and Dickie Betts. It's possible to change the tone on the Spark app while a song is playing on AnyTune. I was listening to a tune through Anytune and then tapped on one of the blues backing tracks on the Spark app and both were playing at the same time. I had the Spark Amp app open on one side and the Anytune app open on the other side, and BOTH were able to play music through the Spark AT THE SAME TIME! Not that anyone would want to do that but I tried it to see if it would actually work. Then you can work in one app or the other as you choose. repeat the process with the other icon, only drag that one to the opposite edge of the screen.Don't let go of the icon with your finger until the app actually opens. It will open in a narrow version of itself. tap and drag one of the icons you want to multi-task up from the dock and to either the left or right hand edge of the screen.It can expand to hold a lot of icons in it. Move the icons for whatever apps you might want to run side-by-side into the left-hand side of the Dock.

By minor I mean like quarter step differences as there was only so much speed adjustment available on my turntable. A pitch shift allows me to adjust for minor (but necessary) tuning differences between my guitar and the recording. Thats a valuable tool and a technique I use with my vinyl record turntable.

This is really a very useful addition to the Spark app.

The tone buttons are between 7 and 9, mostly on 8. If I need a little more gain for the song, I turn the volume to 7 to 8. My volume knob on the guitar is usually on 6. I created the presets with Les Pauls and Strats, depending on the song. I made the presets so, that they should sound the best together with the original backing tracks, i.e. So i have made the presets, that i was looking for by myself. Searching useable sounds in the Tonecloud, fitting to the songs i like, was often not successful. And the app remember the changed settings of the songs. There i can change the pitch and have a perfect control over the volume of each backing track. I like to play my Spark amp together with backing tracks of my favorite songs, that i let play over the Anytune app.
